Hassan M. Dudde is a public speaker, business consultant and adviser to Minister of National Resource of Federal Republic of Somalia H.E Abdirizak Omar Mohamed. Moreover, he is currently the Chairman & Managing Director of the Somali Economic Forum. The Forum was founded in United Kingdom to promote Foreign Direct Investment into Somalia, as well as research and publish economic-related data on Somalia that is critical for meaningful investments. Hassan’s background in economics and commitment to Somalia’s economic recovery has placed him as an authority on Somalia, in Europe.
Hassan has advised number of large corporations and the UK government on trade and investment. He contributes frequently with regards to numerous debates on Somalia in various media platforms such as Bloomberg TV, Al-Jazeera, BBC, Radio France International (RFI), Press TV, and VOX Africa. Hassan also contributes articles on Somalia’s business and economy, which has been featured by the Financial Times among other notable publications.
Hassan graduated from the University of London with a B.Sc. in Economics and Banking and an M.Sc in Financial Economics from Queen Mary. He worked in the investment banking industry in London since 2007 for Citigroup, Mizuho International, HSBC Global Asset Management, and UBS.
